is a non-profit organization for the LGBTQIA+ individuals with behavioral health issues and concerns. We warmly welcome all sexual and gender minorities. People who are duly stigmatized can have a difficult time finding full acceptance from others. Hearts & Ears aims to be a community where LGBTQIA+ individuals can feel safe, supported, and welcomed. 🏳️‍🌈PRIDE History Facts:🏳️‍⚧️

Hearts and Ears is the original and only LGBTQIA Wellness & Recovery Center in the state of Maryland! It was founded 27 yrs ago in 1999 and continues to serve the community in behavioral health.
The center also hosted the 1st Black Trans Health Summit in 2016.

The center’s Executive Director, Ken Jiretsu is the first transgender individual to get his birth certificate changed under the Maryland Transgender Birth Certificate Act in 2015. He is also one of the founding members of The Baltimore Transgender Alliance.
