Last month our ABI staff had the opportunity to attend the 2026 National Charter Schools Conference (NCSC) in New Orleans, along with more than 4,400 educators, leaders, and advocates from around the country. NCSC is the largest annual gathering of the charter school community.

We attended helpful sessions and heard inspiring speeches, with topics ranging from advocacy to AI. A city that is a nearly all-charter district and has seen huge gains in student outcomes over the two decades since Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans was the perfect setting to gather in support of the charter school movement. Thank you to the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools for putting on a great event and spotlighting the important role charter schools play in our educational system.

The annual BE School Musical is coming up on 5/14 and 5/15 — Disney's Aladdin Jr. Funds are being raised for the theatre department with Joe Corbi's. 🍕💙🩵

Joe Corbi's is more than pizza! You can order cookie dough and desserts, as well as apparel, jewelry, candles, holiday items, and so much more. Items can be shipped directly to out of town supporters.
