This morning, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of Platform 5 at Penn Station! representatives and stakeholders gathered today with state, local, and federal officials to inaugurate this newly constructed boarding platform at Baltimore Penn Station. Platform 5 is scheduled to begin serving trains this spring.

This new platform is one of two being built at Baltimore Penn Station. The second platform is scheduled for completion in Fall 2024. These two new high-level platforms will support Amtrak’s expansion of high-speed train service with new Acela trains scheduled to debut later this year.

Congrats to another PJSI grad for taking the next step in his construction career! 📈

James came to PJSI unsure about his future, but left us after graduation feeling confident about his construction knowledge and path forward! He is currently supporting the much-anticipated revitalization of Baltimore Penn Station with Wohlsen Construction Company AND will be starting ABC Greater Baltimore's apprenticeship program in the fall. 👏

Congrats, James, we have loved watching you grow and can't wait to see where this journey takes you!
