SEPA EDUCATION FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES GOLDSMITH RINZLER WILLIAMS SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS FOR 2014-2015PRESS RELEASE
Baltimore, Maryland, July 1, 2014 – The SEPA Education Foundation is proud to announce that five students have been selected to receive the Goldsmith Rinzler Williams Scholarships for the 2014-2015 academic year. A joyful Executive Director Vanessa Purnell was happy to state that the number of scholarship awarded by the Foundation has increased from 1 in 2011 and 2012 to 5 for the 2014-2015 school year. Purnell thanked those who made donations and stated that the Foundation is getting noticed as an organization that allocates 100% of the money received to scholarships. Two high school seniors (incoming freshmen), and three upper class students were selected. The GRW Scholarship recipients are:
• Justin Jenkins, Bishop McNamara High School, Forestville, Maryland (Hampton University)
• Daryl Jones, University of Maryland Eastern Shore
• Sylvia Richardson, Klein Forest High School, Houston, Texas (North Carolina Central University)
• Chelsea Stanley, Delaware State University
• Christi Thomas, University of Maryland Eastern Shore
The Goldsmith Rinzler Williams Scholarship was established by Sports & Entertainment of Promoters of America (SEPA), Inc.’s Founder and CEO Thomas G. Hicks, Sr. to honor Gregory Goldsmith, Kate Rinzler and David Williams.
