Reminder -- today, January 30, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Baltimore City Department of Transportation will be implementing intermittent temporary road closures and traffic stops in downtown Baltimore. As a result of these temporary closures and expected heavy traffic volumes, the following bus routes may experience delays or route diversions:
-- CityLinks: Blue, Brown, Lime, Navy, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, and Yellow
-- LocalLinks: 53, 54, 71, 73, 76, 78, 80 and 94
-- Express BusLink: 154 and 163
Light Rail may also experience short service delays during this time period.
Riders should check Transit app (mta.maryland.gov/transit) for the most current arrival information or call the Transit Information Contact Center at 410-539-5000

Heavy volumes of traffic are expected downtown and in areas beyond the central business district (CBD) on Monday from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Temporary traffic stops and possible road closures will be implemented during these times which will cause congestion and delays. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead if traveling in the downtown vicinity on Monday by allowing additional travel time.

We will hear from Sheppard Pratt Supportive Services for Veteran Families and Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (SSVF/HVRP) and The Baltimore Station. Following Q&A, we will hear from a ServingTogether Peer Navigator on trending needs. We will conclude with a facilitated discussion among participating organizations' successes, challenges, resources, and upcoming events.

About: The Central Maryland Veterans Collaborative is a joint effort between ServingTogether, Maryland's Commitment to Veterans, and Baltimore Federal Executive Board. These informal meetings between service providers and community organizations serve as an action-oriented platform to share knowledge, celebrate wins, identify gaps, learn together, and build relationships. Our objective is to build capacity within Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Harford County, and Howard County while facilitating collaborative solutions. Meetings are held virtually each month on the 2nd Tuesday from 9:00am to 10:00am eastern. (Starting last month the previous 5 collaboratives have merged into one monthly collaborative.)

If you are interested in the program, you are invited to attend a brief offered by Chief Siegfried, who is USNA's Fleet Regional Director and USNA's Enlisted Commissioning Advisor. 🗣 Last call to register for this no-cost wellness challenge: Monday, Aug 29th is the last day to register!

💻 Curious about what the challenge platform and features look like? A few weeks ago, GEHA's Health and Wellness Manager Coletta Meyer took us through a demo of how to register and what's available on the site and we're sharing the recording here. So, join GEHA Account Manager for DC-MD-VA and Baltimore Federal Executive Board's Executive Director Cynthia Cavalieri as Coletta takes us on a tour of the platform. (At time of recording, 14 FEB locations had signed on to participate and we're now up to 24 participating FEBs!)

📈 As of Friday morning, Baltimore Federal Executive Board was 7th in registrations among the 24 participating FEB locations. Securing at least 20 more registrations could bump us up to 3rd! We'll share an update with final registration numbers once registration closes next week.

📌 Reminders: Open to all current and Federal employees and Federal contractors only. You can participate as an individual or on a team. Teams can be from the same agency or across different agencies.
