Today we celebrated Fathers. Our Father's Day celebration was catered by Bangin Fish and Chicken. The portions were large and delicious. The committee outdid itself with the variety of desserts! The door prizes were fun and the cooling towel given to the men was awesome.

A grand Cinco de Mayo Mother's Day was had yesterday at our center! We honored all of the mothers of Overlea-Fullerton Senior Center while enjoying Mexican food. The committee did a great job decorating and serving. The musical guests were Yoon-Mee Chong on the violin and Min-Chi Wu on piano. They are talented classical artists.

May is bringing a sky full of quiet magic… 🌌✨
From the soft glow of the Flower Moon on May 1, to the fast, fleeting streaks of the Eta Aquarids on May 6, the night sky slowly comes alive—one moment at a time. Then, on May 19–20, the Moon meets Venus and Jupiter, creating a beautiful celestial alignment you can see with your own eyes.
And just when you think the month has shown you everything… May ends with something rare—the Blue Moon on May 31, a second full moon lighting up the same sky.
Some moments are loud and unforgettable.
Others are quiet, soft… and just as magical.
