The Western District NCO Unit would like to thank Union Baptist Head Start for allowing us to help celebrate the upcoming holiday with an Easter egg hunt. Thanks to the Salvation Army of Central Maryland, all the children were able to receive a plush toy, and thanks to Little Smiles with Big Dreams Learning Center, they also received a bag of candy.

Major Preston of the Western District, met Tru on a fire scene. She was so impressed on how well he spoke about his community, she surprised him along with his fourth grade class with cupcakes and Icee's. Thank you to the school staff at Sandtown-Winchester Academy for allowing the Western District to engage with our youth.

Once submissions are completed and verified, a list of public National Night Out events will be posted on the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement's website. Event organizers should visit the Department of Transportation's Special Events website to complete the required permits.

In reference to a Burglary that occurred on March 17, 2025, in the 1400 block of Lafayette Avenue, Western District detectives need your help in identifying the individuals seen in this video.
