Bamberg County Family and Community Leaders

Bamberg County Family and Community Leaders It was organized at Winthrop University in June 1921. SCFCL is composed of Family and Community Leaders Clubs throughout the state.

South Carolina Family and Community Leaders (SCFCL) is a volunteer organization extending the resources of land grant universities, such as Clemson University, to the people of South Carolina. These clubs are organized into the county organizations. The objective for County Organizations of Family and Community Leaders is to raise the standard of home and community life; to develop leadership and

initiative among people in the promotion of those movements which are for the up building of community life; to bring together members of Family and Community Leaders Clubs in the county for those ends; to act as aids to extending the work of the Extension Home Economists. The officers of Bamberg County Family and Community Leaders are:

Bamberg County Family and Community Leaders will have their Annual Breakfast on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in the auditorium of the J Carl Kearse Agricultural Building located at 847 Calhoun Street in Bamberg, South Carolina. The speakers for this event will be Janeth Walker, Bamberg County School District 1 Board Member and Sabrina Early, American Cancer Society. This event is open to the public.
