It is done. Polls are closed. To all of you that supported me, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am tired, but feeling encouraged by the number of people that quietly pulled me aside on the way out to say they voted for me.

Now for dinner out with my ever loving and patient wife.

As much as I want to be out knocking on doors to meet you all, campaigning will have to wait for another day.

I work for a small 100% Employee Owned Company where we are all long term employees, close to one another and tragedy has hit one of our own.

A coworkers Dad passed unexpectedly this AM.
I am his vacation coverage for route sales and will be heading out of town to go get his box truck. He is obviously not going to be in to work this week.
It's just what we do when we are like family to each other. We take care of ourselves and carry on.
Its a rarity in business these days but it's a big part of why I do what I do and the way I am.
I treat my co workers like family and will treat City employees the same way. I expect nothing less than that from them.
