The Slate Belt Heritage Center presents its annual Haunted Heritage production, "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Ghosts" on Thursday, Oct. 15th at7 pm. In honor of our nation's 250th anniversary, spirits of 1776 (from before, during and after the Revolution) will visit the Heritage Center to tell their tales about our country's birth. You may meet Ben Franklin and Alexander Hamilton, remember the ladies with Abigail Adams, and ponder the loyalties of Elias Long and Aaron Burr. Come and see who we conjure up!
Tickets will be available beginning Oct. 3rd at Bray's News Stand, 36 Broadway, Bangor PA and October 3rd, 4th, 10th and 11th at the Slate Belt Heritage Center from noon to 3. The Center is located at 30 N. First Street in Bangor. The ticket price is $10. We hope you will join us for a BOO-TIFUL TIME!

The Borough has made the difficult decision to cancel this year's parade due to many compounding factors, including low registration, low number of volunteers, and emergency roadwork impacting a critical detour route through the borough.

We appreciate everyone who had planned to be a part of the parade and look forward to hosting again under more manageable circumstances.
