14 of our Guard members are now trained wildland firefighters which will alow them to become an even bigger asset to the state. They have just completed classes S-130, S-190, L-180 and the pack test. The pack test is a 3 mile ruck carrying a 45lb pack that must be done in 45 minutes or less. This was a tough test, especially with high temperature today. Many thanks to the Maine Forest Rangers for this opportunity. Great job everyone!

It's not every day that we have the honor to host part of the Presidential detail in our station. 🇺🇸

This week, all three crews, along with Guard members, performed their annual live fire training. We also worked on ventilation techniques, pump training and search and rescue. We took advantage of this time and allowed some of our individuals who aspire to advance in their career, the opportunity to run command. We want to thank the Bangor Maine Fire Department for allowing us to utilize their training facility once again.
