TEMPORARY NO PARKING SIGNS

With the Lions Club Fun Daze parade coming up this Sunday (8/16), our Public Works Department is getting everything ready for a safe and fun event.

To clear the route for the parade, crews will begin placing temporary "No Parking" signs along the designated streets this Friday. Please note that these parking restrictions will not be enforced until Sunday morning at 8:00 AM.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep the parade route safe for all participants and spectators. Enjoy the Fun Daze Festivities all weekend long; Aug 14th through Aug 16th down at the village park. For more information go to https://www.facebook.com/BangorLionsWI

Reminder: For those driving into the Village, please keep in mind that the parade kicks off at approximately Noon. However, road closures will begin earlier in the morning as we prepare the route. No through traffic will be allowed until the parade concludes.

A beautiful legacy of love and safety at the Village of Bangor Park.

Following the heartbreaking loss of Emerson Small to cardiac arrest in 2024, her mother Kristen Craig, family, and friends created "Emerson’s Legacy." Today, they have placed a life-saving AED inside the large park shelter to protect everyone attending local festivals, family gatherings, and ball games. Emerson saved three lives as an organ donor, and her impact continues to grow right here in our community. Thank you to Kristen Craig, family, and friends for this vital gift. ❤️

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸The Bangor, WI American Legion Post 40 is hosting their annual Independence Day Celebration, this Saturday, July 4th, at our Village Park (Veteran's Memorial Park - 1630 Park Drive, Bangor, WI)

Please take note! The DNR will no longer allow the Legion and their fireworks vendor to launch from the biketrail. That being said, the fireworks are STILL going to be held in the park just at a different location, behind the veteran's memorial.

Come down to the park and support the Legion's efforts and help celebrate our Nation's 250th birthday 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

BMU Customers, We are aware of a power outage from 20642 Kale Road to 21881 Kale Road. Power will be out for an extended period of time. The crews are on site and working hard to get power restored as soon as possible.
Please be aware that the street is currently closed at 20769 Kale Road.

Bangor Residents:

If you had recycling that was not picked up yesterday, please contact Harter's Quick Clean-up this morning (608)-782-2082 with your address. There was some miscommunication with staff yesterday and some bins were missed. They will be coming back through the Village to get those emptied either this afternoon or tomorrow.

The Wafer Mobile Food Truck will be in Bangor again tomorrow 5/28/2026 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am and every 4th Thursday of each month.

ATTENTION: ROAD CLOSURES SCHEDULED

Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12th, CP Rail will be doing maintenance on the train crossings within the Village. The following crossings will be closed: 10th Ave South, 15th Ave South, and 18th Ave South.

The work is expected to be finished by the evening, with all closed crossings open. Please plan your routes through the Village utilizing 16th Ave S and 19th Ave S during this time.
