Banner Elk now has a community radio station, the new WXVV! Tune into 105.5 FM within 3 miles of downtown or listen live at www.WXVV.org

. This non-profit will provide local news, music, and cultural programming that connects residents and visitors. Currently, listen to nonstop 70s and 80s music - with classics from the Great American Songbook 5-7 pm daily. Much more content to come. The station is located in the Historic Banner Elk School. Thanks to Tom McMurray for creating this voice of Banner Elk. He's looking for folks to come in to record shows, educational features and interviews.
