We are excited to announce our 6th Annual City of Banning Electric Utility Energy Saving Trees event. The portal is now open to reserve up to two trees https://get.arborday.org/BEU.
The Arbor Day Foundation portal will help you determine the best location to plant your tree(s) for maximum shade and energy savings in your home. Reserve yours today for pickup on Wednesday, May 6th from 8:00am to 4:00pm in the Corporate Yard parking lot. There have been reports of someone posing as a partner who works “Along Side” City of Banning Electric Utility to inspect electric meters. This is a scam. The phone number on the caller ID is 949-796-8257. More than likely this is a solar solicitation.

Notice of Temporary Road Closure.
Lincoln Street, just east of 22nd Street, near Adams Street, will be temporarily closed from Tuesday, March 17 through Friday, March 20. Crews will be digging a trench to install new electrical lines in the area. Detour signs will be posted, and we kindly ask drivers to follow all posted directions and use caution when traveling nearby. Thank you for your patience as we make these important infrastructure improvements!
