🇺🇸✨This month’s Future Officer Highlight recognizes 2LT Victor Carrasco, a recent ROTC graduate from Loyola University who is preparing to serve both his country and future patients.

When asked what inspired him to pursue medicine, Victor shared:

“I chose medicine because I appreciate the responsibility physicians have when interacting with their patients. During my time in undergrad, I realized that a person’s health is so fundamental to their identity. Being able to help people get back to the best version of themselves feels like the most rewarding thing I can do with my life.”

Victor’s passion for service, leadership, and compassionate care embodies what it means to be a future Army medical officer.

Outside of his academic and military commitments, Victor enjoys painting model kits, playing video games, and spending time outdoors hiking and taking long walks.
