***Haunted House Canceled (Oct 29)***

The Bar Nunn Fire Department cares deeply about our communities safety and due to inclement weather and road conditions we are canceling tonight’s event. We are still planning on hosting our haunted house Oct 30 - Nov 1.

We would like to thank everyone who has attended our event so far this year and hope you have enjoyed it!

Tonight is the start of our annual Haunted House! Doors open at 6:30pm and close at 11:00pm.

Entry fee is $5 for 12 and younger and $10 for 13+. All funds go to supporting our department!

Sharing this post can also greatly support our department! We hope to see you here at the Bar Nunn Fire Station! (1705 Sunset BLVD).

Today, we honor the memory of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. We remember the bravery of the first responders, the resilience of the survivors, and the countless acts of heroism and kindness that emerged in the face of tragedy.

On this day in 2001, 71 law enforcement officers, 343 fire and EMS personnel, and 2,564 civilians lost their lives. This horrific act of terrorism in our country was intended to spread fear and deviation to the American Spirit. Instead it brought true Americans, foreign and domestic to band together and persevere during this dark time.

On this day, we pause to reflect on the strength of the American spirit and the power of unity. Let us never forget the lessons of that day; the importance of coming together, supporting one another, and holding close the values of compassion, courage, and hope.

We will always remember.
