Whether they’re spending the day at the beach, on a lake, or playing in the pool, make sure your kids know these basic water safety skills.

Kids should be able to:
▪ Step or jump into water over their head and return to the surface.
▪ Turn around in the water and orient to safety.
▪ Float or tread water.
▪ Combine breathing with forward movement in the water.
▪ Exit the water.

Even when children know how to swim, adults should take turns supervising.

Students rotated through hands-on stations covering topics like water safety, farm equipment safety, and more — including two additions this year: e-bike and scooter safety, and first aid.

Check out some photos from the stations below. A huge thank you to all of our sponsors, presenters, teachers, and volunteers who made it happen!
