State Commander Ty Letto is calling on every Comrade across Wisconsin to Make It Count this May because YOU make a difference in the life of a veteran every single day.

We are in the final push, and this is your moment to step up, lean in, and grow the strength of the VFW.

✔️ Recruit or reinstate 1 member – Earn $25
✔️ Recruit or reinstate 3 members – Earn $50
✔️ Recruit or reinstate 5 members – Earn $100

Post 987, Auxiliary Members and our faithful followers,

On Saturday May 9th, our own Scout Troop 3377 will be one of several local Non-Profit Organizations working this year's 'CELEBRATE SPRING FUNDRAISER' at Ochsner Park.

The Scouts will be offering the best cooked brats & fixings you will find around town that day!

Let's get out and support the Scouts and these other fine Baraboo organizations.

Sharing a Breakfast treat from our Reedsburg VFW friends:

Reedsburg VFW Post 1916 (225 Warehouse Rd, Reedsburg) is proud to host a monthly breakfast buffet open to the public on the 2nd Sunday of every month from 8 a.m. until 12:00 P.M.

Menu items include:
Made to order omelets, scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, hash browns, homemade buttermilk pancakes, biscuits and gravy, applesauce, bagels with cream cheese, toast, and drinks of your choosing.

Pricing:
$10 per person
Children under 10 are $1 for each year of age

We hope you enjoy this great opportunity to support your local veterans, enjoy the VFW hall and memorabilia, and gather with members of the community. All proceeds go right back into helping veterans, their families, and community programs.

SHOUT OUT to our VFW 987 Bowlers & Supporters ... we will be down on the lanes this Saturday (April 11) for the 4PM "8-PIN TAP TOURNAMENT" at Thunderbird Lanes.

This is a Baraboo FFA program fundraiser, and VFW 987 has a Sponsored Lane for some good fun for a good cause!

Whether you are bowling or just want to come cheer the VFW Team on - we plan to be there to register prior to 4PM. Come on out and support us if nothing else!

VFW Post 987 Members ... please look over the attached notice regarding Baraboo's annual Parade to be held on Saturday, June 13th.

Keeping in mind this is our Nation's 250th birthday - so the Parade Committee has selected someone very special to be honored as the official PARADE MARSHALLS ... the Baraboo Area Veterans!

We will be keeping you posted with related updates as the date nears. But for the moment I wanted you alerted to the date (pencil it on the calendar).

As you ponder over it, please do let Dennis (608-393-0643) know if you are planning to attend, as he needs to secure enough rides where needed.
