National Night Out is about building relationships and strengthening partnerships between our community and the professionals who serve it. It is also an opportunity for young people to learn about rewarding careers in law enforcement, fire service, emergency management, human services, corrections, and other public-service fields.

We encourage families and community members to come out, meet the people behind these agencies, learn about available resources, and enjoy an afternoon together.

Sauk County residents experienced almost 3 million dollars in damages related to April storms and flooding.

Tune in at 8:10 a.m. on Friday 7/24 with David Grant for an interview with Sauk County, WI Emergency Management, FEMA and the U.S. Small Businesses Administration to learn more about how you can receive assistance.

FEMA/Small Business Administration will be doing in-person disaster assistance claims for those who wish to file a claim in-person at City Hall next week Monday July 27 -> Friday July 31 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Agriculture and Farms Disaster Assistance Programs

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) offers a variety of programs and assistance to also help farmers recover from April’s storms and flooding.

Sauk County Farmer’s with crop, livestock and farm infrastructure damages/losses should contact their local Farm Service Agency (FSA) to further navigate USDA programs available.

Disaster Recovery Centers coming to Sauk County!

Sauk County residents experienced almost 3 million dollars in damages related to April’s storms and flooding.

FEMA and the Small Business Administration (SBA) are offering disaster assistance options to individuals or businesses who suffered damage related to these storms. You can apply online at: https://www.fema.gov/disaster/4923

*Or FEMA/SBA representatives will be available on-site to answer questions and assist with the disaster loan application process/claims. These representatives will be in Sauk County on the following dates and location:

July 27th-31st, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
