BARAGA AREA SCHOOLS
BOARD OF EDUCATION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on June 22, 2026, at 5:00 o’clock p.m. in the Baraga High School Library, the Board of Education of Baraga Area School will hold a public hearing to consider the district’s proposed 2026-2027 budget.

The board may not adopt its proposed 2026-2027 budget until after the budget hearing. A copy of the proposed budget, including the proposed property tax millage rate, will be available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Central Office, 210 Lyons Street, Baraga, Michigan.

The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.

This notice is given by order of the Board of Education.
