Here is an old children’s book that you can read with your child or grandchild in preparation for our upcoming “Mum Fest“ introducing new vocabulary to your child, so that they know that the word mum is the abbreviation for the word chrysanthemum, which in this case is a cute little mouse 🐭🐁🐭🌼🥀🌻🌷🌺🌸

FYI! August approaches

Change: starting August, 2026

Please be mindful: do *not* leave books before the time frame on the donation date.

Many of our FOL members are unable to lift big, heavy boxes and bags. We reserve the right to inspect all books as well, as we canNOT take books that have mildew, mold, cobwebs, etc. Allowing us to take a moment to sift through them BEFOREhand alleviates the need for unnecessary lifting on the part of the volunteers during the intake.
