Meet Megan Schanz, a dedicated PBIS Tutor at Barberton Intermediate School! 🪄

In her first year at Barberton City Schools, Megan has loved building connections with students across the building and getting to know them better each day. She enjoys listening to the stories and experiences that students are excited to share with her.

Megan is motivated by seeing the academic and personal growth students have achieved throughout the year. She believes that Barberton City Schools is a great place for students to learn and grow because of the strong sense of community and supportive staff who genuinely care about student success.

Her advice for students: “Your life is your responsibility. The only person you can fully control is yourself. You are responsible for your energy, your happiness, and your CHOICES.”

Outside of work, Megan enjoys coaching, playing soccer, painting, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
