The recycling trailer is available at the Water Works Plant in Milton… (339 East Main Street aka Rt 60) until 6:00pm today, August 15th...(3rd Saturday)
If the compartments are full, set bags at the front of the trailer.

Do not place plastic bags inside the compartments.

Just a reminder…Our August Electronics Recycling Event is scheduled for this Saturday (August 15th)

We will be collecting electronics Saturday from 8:00am to 11:30 am at the new recycling yard located at 1537 7th Ave in Huntington.

You will not need a fob to enter the gate.

Bring us your unwanted electronics for recycling. We will accept the following items: computer towers, monitors, cords, fax machines laptops, printers, cellphones, microwaves, audio/visual equipment, small appliances, and rechargeable batteries.

As mentioned after the April event our contractor began charging us .50/lb for flatscreen televisions.

To offset that cost the following fees will apply to all flatscreen televisions:

Up to 32 inches - $5.00
33 to 40 inches - $10.00
41 to 55 inches - $15.00
56 to 65 inches - $25.00

There will be NO CHARGE for computer monitors.

The Barboursville, WV site for recycling is located on Depot St. adjacent to the Barboursville Public Works building. The gate at Depot Street is operational on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8am to 4pm​

Work on the fence continues today and will likely continue into the first half of next week. The yard is still open while construction takes place. Please be cautious as you enter and exit the yard to drop off recyclables.
