One of our very own Amelia is representing Nelson County on State Teen Council this year preparing! Looking forward to Teen Conference 2026 tomorrow.

The State Teen Council is gearing up for an incredible week at Teen Conference! Today, the Kentucky 4-H Foundation Board had the opportunity to share lunch and spend time getting to know these outstanding young leaders. Their passion, leadership, and dedication to Kentucky 4-H are truly inspiring and remind us why we continue working to create meaningful opportunities for 4-H youth across the Commonwealth. We can’t wait to see all they accomplish this week and beyond! 💚🍀

Upcoming Cloverbud Day Camp open to youth 5-8 years old!!
June 30th, 2026 at the Nelson County Extension Office.
The first session will be from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
The second session will be from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
Please call the Nelson County Extension Office to sign up at 502-348-9204!
It is $10 per youth to sign up, this is a fundraiser for the Nelson County 4-H Teen Council.

🍀 Nelson County 4-H Camp Update 🍀

All paperwork was due Friday 4/17.

With the teens and adults that we had sign up to volunteer we are able to take:
- 10 more male campers!
- ALL female camper spots are full.

To claim one of the male camper spots you will need to turn in completed registration paperwork. For a copy of camp paperwork, please email [email protected] OR stop by the Extension Office to complete.

Everyone that completed registration paperwork should have gotten an email that their camper has a spot for camp! Please pay your invoices as soon as possible!

If you have not gotten an invoice and feel you should have, please call the office and ask for Kathy. Phone number is 502-348-9204.

Our Spring 4-H Fundraiser is HERE! It is a little different than in years prior. This year, 4-H members will be selling $25 gift certificates for Country Place Greenhouse. This is where all of our spring flowers normally come from. This gives the person buying the certificate the opportunity to go and pick out their own flowers from the greenhouse.

ALL orders are due to the Extension Office on May 4th by 4:00pm. Gift certificates will be available for pickup May 7th from 9am-6:30pm. This will be just in time for Mother’s Day!! These gift certificates would make a fantastic gift!! 🌼🍀🌸
