The Nelson County Recycling Center will be CLOSED on Wednesday, June 17th. We are taking our clients on an outing to the pool for the day. Please utilize the trailers located at 900 Nutter drive for Wednesday, June 17th.

We will resume normal business hours on Thursday, June 18th!

Nelson county recycling center will be CLOSED today from 11am - 1pm to pay our respects during the procession for Technical Sergeant Ashely Pruitt.

Please utilize our drop of trailers during that time.

🚨 The NC Recycling Center is back open and running on its normal schedule. We truly appreciate your patience and continued support—it means so much to our program and community. ♻️

Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
(Closed for lunch from 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM)

Don’t forget - our green trailers are available 24/7 for your convenience. You can find them located throughout the county, as well as right outside the recycling center.

‼️ ‼️ NELSON COUNTY RECYCLING CENTER IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED ‼️ ‼️

They are replacing our over head lighting in our recycling department today and will have to cut the power to do so. We are sorry for this inconvenience and hope it will be done quickly!
