In Art/Music, our 1st graders listened to the imaginative story Not a Stick by Antoinette Portis and then put their creativity to work!
Using their very own “not a sticks” and their imaginations, students transformed simple sticks into something completely their own. We loved seeing where their creativity took them!

Ms. Jenni’s first grade class read Elmer the Patchwork Elephant and wrote about what makes each of them unique. They used watercolor paints to create their very own Elmer-inspired elephants! First grade is so much fun!

The rain blocked the sunshine outside, but it couldn't stop our Tigers from having an amazing Tiger Pawloosa inside. We are so grateful for our staff and volunteers who brought the joy to a rainy day at BPS.
