A huge THANK YOU to Darren Warren for helping make it possible for us to purchase a small rescue boat! This is a big step forward in improving our ability to respond to flash flooding and swift water emergencies in our area.

Our members will be going through specialized training to safely and effectively operate the boat during rescue operations. We’re proud to continue strengthening our capabilities to serve and protect our community!

Thank you to William Curtsinger, Josh Cissell, and Chief Chad Yarbrough for updating our rescue boat. We upsized our motor, installed pods, and installed an equipment hatch in the front. We took it out today and we are very pleased with the updates.

Carlisle County EMA and the Carlisle County Judge Executive have been in contact with Jackson Purchase Electric Company in regards to the 45 residents that are still without power. Due to significant damages done in the other service areas they have had to shutdown other substations and will need to drive the lines to ensure their safety before re-energizing them. We will give more information as we receive it.
