Please be aware that the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting a series of training exercises at Union Elementary from June 3–12. During this time, community members may notice an increased presence of police and first responder vehicles in the school parking lot and surrounding areas.

These are planned training activities only, and there is no cause for concern.

Storybooks came to life in downtown Franklin! 📚✨

Some of our amazing Union teachers traded in their everyday attire for a little imagination, dressing up as storybook characters as they took part in the annual FCS Wellness Scavenger Hunt!

It’s just one more way our staff builds community, supports wellness, and shows that learning (and a little dress-up!) never goes out of style. 💫

The 2025–2026 yearbooks have arrived! 📘✨ They will go home on Tuesday, 4/7 with students who had an order placed for them.

We do have extra yearbooks on sale NOW if you missed the online ordering window. These extra yearbooks are available for $20 (cash or check only, made out to Union Elementary School). 💵✏️

Students will need to see Mrs. McCrary in the office with payment to purchase a yearbook.
