Attention Village of Barker Residents:

Please be reminded that the Village of Barker noise ordinance takes effect at 10:00 PM. This ordinance applies to all excessive noise, including persistent dog barking and howling.

Residents are encouraged to be considerate of their neighbors and take appropriate measures to keep noise levels to a minimum during overnight hours.

After 10:00 PM, complaints may be reported, and authorities may be contacted to address ongoing violations.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping maintain a peaceful and respectful community for all residents.

MODERN TRASH COLLECTION UPDATE
Friday, April 17, 2026 The Village was notified that some trash collection and large item collection maybe delayed until Saturday, April 18th. Modern will still be in the area tomorrow, so don't delay on putting out your recepticiles, however they may not be able to collect all of the Village on Friday and
will come back on Saturday to finish.

Please join us in welcoming our new Code Enforcement Officer, Daniel Wojewoda, to the village. Going forward, any concerns or code violations will be handled through him and the office.

The Village of Barker will hold its annual Reorganizational Meeting on Monday, April 6th, 2026 at 7:00 PM at the village hall.

This meeting includes the appointment of positions and setting of policies for the upcoming year.

As always, the public is welcome to attend.
