We encourage everyone to stay alert and share the road safely.

As many of you know, the 2026 Steel Horse Rally is taking place over the next couple of days, May 1st and 2nd, in Fort Smith.

This annual event brings a large number of riders into our community, making motorcycle awareness more important than ever.

Key Safety Tips for Drivers:

Look Twice:

Take an extra moment to check for motorcycles at intersections and before turning.

Check Blind Spots: Motorcycles are smaller and can be harder to see. Always double-check.

Give Space: Maintain a safe following distance of at least two seconds.

Signal Intentions: Use your turn signals early so riders can anticipate your movements.
