Get them now while they are green because you need those seeds to be in there, crush them up and put about 3/4 full in a jar. Add cheap vodka and steep for 6 weeks!
I like to use brandy because it’s a little easier to get down and it opens up the lungs.

Historically classified as an aggressive agricultural w**d, purslane (Portulaca oleracea) earned its negative reputation due to its extraordinary survival mechanisms and rapid growth cycles. Farmers and gardeners determined it a nuisance because its fleshy, succulent stems can easily re-root even after being uprooted, chopped, or left in the sun. A single purslane plant can produce over 200,000 seeds, which remain viable in the soil for decades, allowing the species to quickly overtake cultivated fields, choke out cash crops, and resist standard w**ding practices. Because it thrives in poor, compacted soils and intensive heat, it routinely invaded disturbed grounds, cementing its status as an unwanted pest throughout modern Western agriculture.

Despite its persistent reputation as a garden enemy, modern nutritional science has rebranded purslane as a literal superfood and a nutrient powerhouse. It contains the highest recorded levels of omega-3 fatty acids—specifically alpha-linolenic acid (ALA)— of any green leafy vegetable, making it an invaluable plant-based source for cardiovascular health.
