The Annual Easter Egg hunt at the Barlow House Museum is being rescheduled due to weather forecast. The hunt will be on Friday, April 3. Lineup at 430, hunt at 5. They apologize for any inconvenience, but Sat looks like rain all day! So come and join them in Fri evening instead! Lineup will be at the gazebo in the back.

NOTICE: Spring Cleanup Week for City of Barlow residents will be April 6th thru April 11th. Take items to the Maintenance Shop. Dumpsters will be located inside the gate at the lower shop (blue building). Please put all items inside the dumpsters. No tires, no appliances with freon, no paint.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Starting WEDNESDAY, April 15th, City of Barlow residents' trash pickup day is changing to WEDNESDAYS. Please have your trash cans out on Tuesday nights so as not to miss the pickup.

In order to get the Barlow Cemeteries ready for mowing season, the City of Barlow will be picking up any flowers/decorations that are old and faded. If you have flowers/decorations you want to pick up, please do so by April 1, 2026.

We just heard from Republic Services that they will be picking up residential and commercial trash in Barlow tomorrow.

It is our understanding that with the weather conditions mail is not going out to Evansville this afternoon. So don't take a chance on falling trying to get to your mailbox! If you are expecting a package, check your tracking. If they can't get to you, you should get a scan showing that the post office has it, but can't get it out today. Stay warm and stay safe!
