Remembering our brother Alex on this day.

💙 Remembering Ptl. Alex Hoffman 💙

Today marks 6 years since Ptl. Alex Hoffman passed away on October 2, 2019. Alex proudly served the Barnegat community for 16 years, starting his career in 2003. He was a Field Training Officer, Ocean County Sniper, and the driving force behind our LESO program—helping bring vital equipment to our agency at little to no cost through the U.S. military.
More than his titles, Alex was a true Barnegat resident at heart. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend—with an unforgettable laugh and a willingness to help anyone in need. His dedication and compassion left a lasting impact on everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

💙 Thank you for your service, Ptl. Hoffman. You are missed, remembered, and forever in our hearts.

🏆 Congratulations to the Champions! 🏈

We’re happy to announce that Barnegat PBA 296 has brought home the championship trophy from this year’s Manchester Police Gridiron Classic Flag Football Tournament! 🏆

Our officers demonstrated incredible teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship on the field, embodying the spirit of our department both in and out of uniform.

Thank you to each of the team members who came out to represent our town!

Our annual toy drive will be this Sunday, Dec 1st, from 10am-2pm at the American Legion on Route 9.
The toys collected are for children in our community.

We appreciate the thoughtfulness of the Venue at Lighthouse Women’s Club for their donation of over 20 Thanksgiving food baskets. Our members brought the baskets to the Barnegat Food Pantry to be given to families in need in our community.
