Barnegat Branch Rail Trail This “rail-to-trail” project follows the abandoned Barnegat Branch Division of the Central Railroad of New Jersey.

Once completed, it will stretch 15.6 miles from Barnegat to Toms River. On October 15, 2007, the Barnegat Branch Trail was officially opened to the public. The trail will be constructed in several phases and will stretch 15.6 miles from Barnegat to Toms River once completed.

Nature Poetry Writing Workshop
This program is to help writers of all experience levels with writing nature-inspired poetry. Workshop will begin with reading some examples of published poetry along with group discussion of the selected reading, followed by some generative exercises, as well as a free-writing session. The group will reconvene and share a poem they have written at the end of the session if they wish. This program is primarily a generative workshop critique will not be a focus, though the instructor is happy to provide suggestions and feedback.
