⚠️Water Boil Order Issued

The Barnesville Water Department has issued a precautionary boil advisory due to emergency waterline repairs for all service connections on North Broadway Street, Laws Street, Walton Avenue, Sleepy Hollow Drive, Park Street, and any other experiencing a loss in pressure.

This boil advisory will remain in effect for 48 hours once water service is restored. Water should be vigorously boiled for at least one minute prior to human consumption or dental hygiene use. Residents may also notice discoloration and should be cautious with laundry.

The Barnesville Water Department apologizes for any inconvenience that these waterline repairs may create for their customers.

The Village of Barnesville would like to provide another update regarding the ongoing Village Paving Project.

Milling work is planned for North Chestnut Street from Bond Avenue to Harry Dew Road tomorrow, Friday, August 28, and Monday, August 31, 2026.

🚫 𝗡𝗢 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥:

Please do not park along North Chestnut Street between Bond Avenue and Harry Dew Road during the scheduled milling work.

Residents and motorists are asked to make arrangements to have vehicles removed from this area so crews can safely and efficiently complete the work.

⚠️ As with all roadwork, the schedule is weather dependent and may change.

The Village of Barnesville would like to provide an update on the Village Paving Project.

Milling work is scheduled to begin tomorrow, Thursday, August 27. Crews will begin preparing the streets for the upcoming paving work.

🚫 𝗡𝗢 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥:

• S. Arch Street: No parking tomorrow, Thursday, August 27.

• S. Gardner Street: No parking Thursday, August 27, and Friday, August 28.

Please make arrangements to have vehicles removed from these streets during the scheduled work times. This will allow the crews to safely and efficiently complete the milling work.
