Did you know that Barnesville Ambulance is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year? For a EMS week we will be sharing some of that 60 year history with you. We have come a very long way from the days of throwing people on the back and driving fast. Happy EMS week to our local crews now and in the past. Thank you for all you do and have done!

We loved keeping track of our numbers back then. And it’s still important to know your numbers now. If you’re 18 or older, get a blood pressure check every year, even if you’re healthy.

We will be holding a Pediatric CPR and First Aid course on Wednesday April 29th from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Barnesville Ambulance garage.
The cost is $90 per participant.
This meets the current requirements for childcare providers but is also open to the general public. It is a great course for new parents and grandparents.

The 4th Annual Barnesville Day of Caring is set for Wednesday, May 6. Each year the Day of Caring matches Barnesville High School students with Barnesville senior citizens who need help with outdoor Spring projects including raking leaves, picking up branches and cleaning windows. Registrations are now being taken for this very special day! If you would like assistance call the HELPERS office at 218.354.7090 to register.

We will be having a BLS CPR course on August 6th at 6:30 pm at the Barnesville Ambulance Garage. The cost is $92 per participant.

Barnesville Ambulance will be holding an EMT course starting on January 13th. In-person class will be held Tuesday evenings from 6:30p to 9p. Students will be required to purchase there own online materials for around $100. Additional course costs will be covered for those who intend to apply with Barnesville Ambulance upon completion of the course.

Barnesville Ambulance will be holding an EMT course beginning Tuesday January 13th from 630p to 930p. The course will run through the last week of May. For students who choose to work here upon completion of the course the class cost of $1000 will be covered. Students will be responsible for only the cost of online materials. Around $100.
