The Barnesville Police Department is located in the heart of downtown Barnesville. We proudly serve the community in which we live of approximately 2500 citizens. The Barnesville Police Officers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Police personnel frequently may be called away from the office. If you stop by the Barnesville Police Department and find that the office is locked, please call

the number listed on the door and the area dispatch will get you in touch with an officer. If you have an emergency, please call 9-1-1 immediately. Department personnel is comprised of a Chief of Police, 4 full-time Police Officers (one of which is a School Resource Officer), a part-time Secretary and Animal Control Officer. Some of the programs we participate with include: D.A.R.E., Child Prints,
Crime Watch, Operation ID, Safe and Sober, and Residential Watch,
among others. The Officers at the Barnesville Police Department are available for public speaking, educational and demonstrative events.

Hello Everyone!

The police department is once again participating in the Golden Drive Sock Drive for Homeless Kids. We have a box in our lobby that we would love to have filled to overflowing. Socks must be new and are distributed to children in need in Cass (ND) and Clay (MN) Counties.

Please join us in supporting this worth-while cause.
