June is coming faster than we realize, and we are planning our annual Youth Fishing Tournament. The kids have so much fun at this event. We have drawings for door prizes, and try to make sure we have enough for every kid to get a chance to win. But we need your help to make it successful! If you, or someone you know, want to donate towards getting the door prizes, let us know! Some items that have been handed out in the past have included fishing poles, sleeping bags, and tents.
As always, we thank you all for your ongoing support!

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Buckeye Whitetail Nation for their generous donation of $1,200 toward the purchase of four Indian Backpack Fire Pumps for the Barnesville Fire Department.

Indian Backpack Fire Pumps (often called Indian Tanks) are durable 5-gallon portable water systems designed specifically for fighting wildland, brush, and grass fires. Having this equipment on hand will help our firefighters respond more effectively to those types of calls and better protect our community.

We truly appreciate the support and generosity shown to our department. Donations like this make a real difference in helping us stay prepared. 🚒🔥

Thank you again, Buckeye Whitetail Nation, for your gracious contribution!

We would like to thank our mutual aid partners and the Tanker Task Force for their assistance on our fire yesterday. We shuttled and flowed approximately 45,000 gallons of water. We would also like to thank the community for their concern for our injured firefighters! They were sent to the hospital as a precaution and are all doing well. Thank you to the nurses and staff at Barnesville Hospital for their care for our guys.

We are always accepting applications for Volunteer Firefighters, anyone interested can speak with a member or stop by our station.
