🚒🔥 Fire Safety Day at Barnesville Elementary! 🔥🚒

Today, Chief Chris Hendershot, Assistant Chief Silas Tracy, Don West, and Derek Stewart had the opportunity to visit the kindergarten class at Barnesville Elementary School to talk all about fire safety! 👨‍🚒❤️

The kids learned what to do in the event of a fire, the importance of having a safe meeting place, and why they should never hide from firefighters. We also talked about how firefighters may look a little different when they are wearing all of their protective gear—but they are not scary! Their job is to find you and help keep you safe. 🧑‍🚒

It was a great morning filled with learning, questions, and some future little firefighters! We appreciate Barnesville Elementary for allowing us to spend time with the students and help teach them these important lessons.

Remember: Get out, stay out, and never hide from a firefighter! 🔥

🚒 WE NEED YOU! 🚒

The Barnesville Volunteer Fire Department is looking for new members to join our team!

Being a volunteer firefighter is more than answering calls — it’s about serving your neighbors, making a difference, and being there when your community needs you most.

You don’t have to be a firefighter today — we’ll help you get the training you need.

If you’ve ever thought about volunteering, now is the time to take that first step!

📞 Contact the Barnesville Volunteer Fire Department at 740-425-3054 or reach out to any department member for more information.

Don’t forget! Last chance to order is today and tomorrow!
To answer some questions:
We will not be able to call everyone when the orders are in. We will be making a Facebook post to let everyone know.
We will be picking everything up from the vendor once it is all in, and will bring it back to the firehouse for you pick up from there. If you’ve made arrangements with one of our members for them to pick up your order, that is perfectly ok.
All orders will need picked up (or arrangements made) by the end of November.

We thank you all so much for helping us raise money for these two amazing causes. We will not be benefiting from these sales monetarily in any way, all money made will go to the two causes listed in the flyer.

🚒🚑‼️We are selling shirts this year! ‼️👕
We couldn’t decide which design to do, so we went with both. 🩷💜
We don’t do shirt orders often, get them while you can 🙂
