Rocker b Ranch Preserving the western heritage for generations to come. Rocker b Ranch, located in Barnhart, Texas, was originally formed in 1897 as the Bar S Ranch.

In 1954, Sen. William Blakeley purchased it and changed the brand to the Rocker b. In 1964, he deeded the ranch to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. The ranch is a cow/calf operation that has been raising quality quarter horses since 1957. The horses are used daily on the ranch. In addition to daily activities, horses are hauled to ranch rodeos, ranch horse competitions and cutting co

mpetitions. Rocker b Ranch strives to raise horses with athletic ability and cow sense, as well as a gentle disposition that allows anyone to ride and enjoy them.

Don't let this guys size fool you, he is as athletic as they come! Hilo comes from the string of Kelton Carver and has been used in all aspects of day-to-day ranch work. He is extremely cowy and stout to the horn. Hilo has been started heading and is showing lots of potential. He is sired by SJR Hirey, our son of Dual Rey who is siring gritty, athletic horses that are the favorites among our cowboys. Take him to the roping pen or keep ranching on him...either way you won't be disappointed! He can be a little watchy on the ground. Stands 15.1 hands and weighs 1,300 pounds.
