Today (10/13) is a very important special election in the Town of Barnstable. If you are a voter in either Precinct 1 or 13, please make sure to visit your polling place before 8 PM! Your voice deserves to be heard when choosing who will represent your precinct on the Town Council for the next year. 👍🇺🇸

In a free society, we have the right to host events and discuss political beliefs, no matter who agrees or disagrees. What has happened to Montano's restaurant in Truro after renting space to Republican candidates is disgraceful and unacceptable.

What's worse is the silence of our elected officials - particularly State Senator Julian Cyr, a proud native of Truro. Why are you not condemning this behavior against a local business owner? Why are you not standing up for free speech? I shouldn't be surprised. When your supporters hurled insults and false accusations towards me and one of my volunteers collecting signatures in Provincetown in 2024, you stood by and said nothing. You are a coward.

I'll be heading to Montano's for dinner soon. I encourage everyone to do the same. Senator Cyr can reach out if he wants to join me and stand up for free speech. 🇺🇸

Update: To his credit, Senator Cyr has now made comments condemning the threats made against Montano's.

A Cape Cod restaurant has been inundated by online threats and harassment, even a hoax 911 call resulting in a massive emergency response, in retaliation for hosting a Republican fundraising event.

We need a new Governor in Massachusetts. I supported Brian Shortsleeve for Massachusetts in the primary. Once Mike Minogue for Governor was our nominee, I fully shifted my support to the Minogue/Oliver ticket. That's why I made the motion for a formal endorsement at the last meeting of the Barnstable Republican Town Committee.

Let's work together to elect a new kind of governor and make Massachusetts better for all! 👍🇺🇸

The Vietnam War remains a complicated and divisive wound for our nation. I've been to the memorial in Washington, D.C: it is a solemn and powerful experience. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't had the chance to go, particularly if you have a personal connection.

I'm very grateful to the Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center and all the many volunteers who helped to bring The Wall That Heals to Yarmouth so that everyone has a chance to experience and appreciate all those who gave their lives in Vietnam for the cause of Freedom. It was my privilege to spend a few hours there volunteering this morning. Seeing how real and raw the emotions still are of those who came to find a name puts the horrors and consequences of war into perspective✌️🇺🇸

From Barnstable to Yarmouth to Harwich, we enjoyed every part of this beautiful late summer Cape Cod day. Always good to run into friends like State Representative Steve Xiarhos, Adam Hogue for County Commissioner and Veterans Lunch Box. We love being a part of this community 👍🇺🇸

The girls and I started our day by helping Keep Barnstable Beautiful with their cleanup in our home village of Marstons Mills. They did a great job helping to keep their school clean!

Thanks to the Mashpee Republican Town Committee and my teammates for a fun evening. Another night of trivia, another gold medal for my collection 😄

Glad to see so many good people gathered together to enjoy each other's company, support local candidates for office, and patronize a legendary local business like Dino's Sports Bar. Looking forward to next year! 👍🇺🇸
