Thanks to our innovative partnership with Cape Cod Healthcare we are positioned to invest through our Compassionate Connections program with stakeholders dedicated to help those who are addressing substance use disorder. Gosnold Behavioral Health is a leader in our community and their commitment to lift and support those who seek recovery is inspirational. Thank you for your leadership.
Last week, Gosnold was awarded a grant through the Compassionate Connections Program from the Cape & Islands District Attorney, Robert J. Galibois's Office. Director of Community Based Programs, Suzanne McCormack, and BH-JI Navigator, Lenny Cardoza, accepted the award on behalf of the organization.
This support will strengthen our opioid outreach ride-alongs, where Lenny partners with local police departments to connect individuals affected by substance use with treatment, recovery resources, and hope. It will also support Gosnold's participation in the newly launched Situation Tables across Cape Cod, where community partners work together to identify and assist individuals at elevated risk before a crisis occurs.
We are incredibly grateful to the Cape & Islands District Attorney's Office for investing in this important work. Together, we are building stronger partnerships, expanding access to care, and creating meaningful opportunities to support individuals and families across our community. We are confident this funding will have a lasting and meaningful impact throughout the region.
