Cancer. We all want a new car, a new phone. A person who has cancer only wants one thing... to survive. I know that a lot of you probably won't re-post this. But a very little amount of my friends will. Put this on your wall in honor of someone who died of cancer, survived, or who is fighting against it now. ❤️🙏❤️

My friend shared a thought- provoking message.
These sincere and magical words from billionaire Steve Jobs tells all that money cannot buy happiness and good health. Read this slowly and please past it on.
****************************************
Poignant last words of Steve Jobs, billionaire, dead at 56:
"I have reached the pinnacle of success in business." In other people's eyes my life is a success.
However, aside from work, I’ve had little joy.
At the end of the day, wealth is just a fact I’ve gotten used to.
Right now, lying on my hospital bed, reminiscing all my life, I realize that all the recognition and wealth I took so much pride in, has faded and become meaningless in the face of imminent death.
You can hire someone to drive your car or make money for you, but you can't hire someone to stand sick and die for you.
Material things lost can be found again. But there is one thing that can never be found when it is lost: Life.
Whatever stage of life we are currently at, in time we will face the day the curtain closes.
Love your family, spouse, children and friends... Treat them right .
Cherish them.
As we get older, and wiser, we slowly realize that wearing a $300 or $30 watch both give the same time
Whether we have a $300 or $30 wallet or purse, the amount inside is the same.
Whether we drive a $150,000 car or a $30,000 car, the road and the distance are the same, and we reach the same destination.
Whether we drink a $1000 or $10 bottle of wine, the hangover is the same.
Whether the house in which we live is 100 or 1000 square meters, loneliness is the same.
You will realize that your true inner happiness does not come from material things of this world.
Whether you travel first class or economy class, if the plane crashes, you go down with it...
Therefore, I hope you realize, when you have friends, brothers and sisters, with whom you discuss, laugh, talk, sing, talk about north-south-east or heaven and earth,... this is the real happiness!!
An indisputable fact of life:
Don't raise your children to be rich.
Educate them to be happy.
When they grow up, they will know the value of things and not the price. "

HERMAN BOMBACK'S WILL BE REMEMBERED AND MISSED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM...

I am so sorry to hear that my lifelong friend is no longer with us. I knew him since I was nine. He was a great player on the Bayside (Abbott Court) Little League. He was a great pitcher, hitter and all around player. Everyone liked Herman. I graduated from B.M.C. Durfee High School in 1970 with him. He played for Durfee's baseball team also. Herman was well liked by everyone. He was easy going and friendly. He organized a league for players in the greater Fall River area. He meant a lot to many people. My sincerest sympathy to his wife and family. he will definitely be missed but remembered.

I like helping people and seeing people happy. Italians love family first. Friends and people in their life are next in line for an Italian's friendship, care and love.
Italians love to celebrate! Celebrate life! Celebrate a good meal! Celebrate an accomplishment and accomplishments of associates, friends and neighbors.
Italians are appreciative! Italians love to eat and laugh! Italians love to compete. Italians are not afraid,of hard work! Italians are dedicated. Italians are honest. Italians love honorable people and their accomplishments. Italians love their heritage. Italians love their traditions and culture.

Italians love life!

What do other Italians feel about why they are proud to be an Italian?

Italians and people that married an Italian or just enjoy Italian life;
What do you say???

JOHN FRANCIS CIPOLLINI...
It has been over six years since my cousin John left us but I can still hear him explaining to me a great restaurant he just visited with the world 's best sauce. John loved talking about family, food, sports and life. He was certainly a Fall River / Westport legend.
This year, John is with his beloved wife, Rayna A. (Maltais) Cipollini in his beyond earthly after life.
Rayna left her family and friends recently on March 7th of this year.

____A Tribute toJohn Cipollini____
Saturaday, March 25th was the sixth anniversary of my cousin John Cipollini's death. John was a great, proud, athletic, intelligent and compassionate man. He loved his family, friends, good food and sports. He loved life. He was very competitive in sports and enjoyed talking just about anything.
His playful mannerisms were complemented by his respect for detail and excellence. He is missed by many. We wish cousin John an honorable farewell. I will always remember his attention to perfection.
My good cousin, next door neighbor and buddy was also my sports advisor and confidante; my restaurant and food commentator and best 'bang for the buck' advisor on surf and turf eating establishments.
Cousin John, a historian, professor and a favorite of many of his students during S.M.U's heyday. John loved giving his advice; sharing his stories and he just absolutely loved sports and those professionals that excelled in major league sports.
He enjoyed reading, television (especially westerns and Italian singers from Caruso to Sinatra). He loved family, food. reading and sports. He loved life!

Italian Progressive Club on Slade Street, Fall River, MA

I lived one block away from the Italian Progressive Club for 36 years until I got married. I watched the old time Italians and friends play bocce there when I was a kid. I used to ask them if they would by chances from me to support my Little League. They all use to buy them from me. Once a year, we use to have our Little League banquet there for the who Little League, managers, umpires, parents and friends.
I use to look forward to this every year. Lots of moms and dads would help and make spaghetti and meatballs for the event. It was a real nice childhood memory for all of my buddies and fellow ball players as well as all that attended that annual ceremonial event. Thank you I.P.C. past and present owners for making us enjoy ourselves during this annual event. At that rime my friend, John Morris's dad, Mr. Dan Morris was the president of the league.
My other good friend practically next door to me, Joe Kuszay was on the Royals after my time on the team. His dad was the manager of the Royals and eventually president of the entire league. He was also the Fire Department Chief in the south end of Fall River.
