We've noticed a lot of questions and confusion about Medicare's Annual Wellness Visit and whether Medicare covers preventive care.

One common misconception is that the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit is the same as a traditional physical exam. While they're different, the Annual Wellness Visit plays an important role in helping you stay healthy by reviewing health risks, medications, preventive screenings, and creating a personalized prevention plan.

Medicare also covers many preventive services, including certain screenings, vaccines, and counseling services.

💬 What surprised you most about the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit?

Can You Talk Tech?

Central Vermont Council on Aging is seeking volunteers to assist older adults with basic tech support at local libraries and senior centers.

Volunteers help navigate common technology challenges, answer questions, and learn new digital skills through hands-on support. Drop-In Sessions are informal and designed to meet participants where they are on their technology journey.

To find out if this is the role for you, contact us at (802) 479-0531 or [email protected].

You do not need to be a tech expert to be a Tech Drop-In Volunteer! Read about a current volunteer's experience on our blog: https://cvcoa.org/blog/tech-tales-a-cvcoa-tech-volunteers-story.
