DOT has advised that there will be an upcoming drainage project at the intersection of Route 9 and Ramsdell Ln.
This project is anticipated to start May 13th and last approximately a week. The work will be conducted between 0700-1500.
This project will impact traffic on both roads, with a potential lane closure on the eastern end of Ramsdell.
Please leave yourself extra time if you are travelling in this area, and be prepared to adjust your normal route when dropping off/picking up from the ECLC.

As some might know, Pope Memorial Humane Society experienced a fire at their facility recently.
We just received an email advising that the fire remediation and recovery process is taking longer than anticipated.
Thus, the Barrington Police Department is not able to take possession of strays since we do not have our own facilities to house the animals.
Please ensure your dogs are kept at home where they belong.
