Join BStrong Together and Broncos Committed students from Barrington High School for our 5th Annual Community Wellness Walk & Family Health Fair.

The fun, FREE event will be held on Sunday, October 11th from 12-2pm in Citizens Park to support mental and physical wellness and build strong community connections in support of children, youth, and families throughout the Barrington area.

This is an all-ages community event with fun for the entire family, young and old alike!

This Saturday at the Barrington Area Library!

What do 300 mini beach balls look like? Now you know! Come on over this Saturday, May 30, 10 AM to 2 PM, for Summer Kickoff! You might take home a cute souvenir beach ball after signing up for Summer Reading, enjoying cool tunes by Ben Tatar & the Tatar Tots and Johnny Russler & the Beach Bum Band, the hilarious antics of juggler Andy Head, bubbles, airbrush tattoos, crafts, games, ice pops, and time outside in the sunshine and fresh air! We can’t wait to celebrate summer with you. Everyone is welcome, this event is free, no registration or library card required.

We had such a great time today at our Self-Care Pop-Up at BHS in partnership with the Advocate Healthcare Nurses. BStrong Together Board Members and volunteers helped to survey the students about their favorite fidgets to be included in our Mental Health Coping Kits that will be created for the start of the 2026-27 school year and our wonderful partners from Advocate Healthcare asked students to think about the things that they can be doing instead of scrolling on their phones.

It is always such a pleasure to host these events at BHS. The students are friendly, engaged, respectful and so much fun to be around. We can't wait for our next pop-up event in December of 2026!

BStrong Together was honored to be recognized - along with Barrington Youth & Family Services - for our work to support youth mental health at Tuesday's Board of Education meeting. We are grateful for our partnerships with Barrington 220 School District and Barrington Youth and Family Services in our combined efforts to help our community raise healthy, happy kids. As we know well, we truly are stronger together!

If you have a student at Barrington High School, be sure to remind them to stop by TOMORROW when we will be outside the cafeteria during all of the lunch periods talking about social media and wellness along with our pop-up partners - the Advocate Healthcare Nurses.

We will also have our fidget sample bar set-up so that students can vote on their favorite fidgets to include in the upcoming BHS Coping Kits for the 2026-27 school year.
