Former DuPage County Auditor Bob Grogan was elected as the new chair of Illinois’ Republican Party, replacing Kathy Salvi of Mundelein, who was elected to the post in July 2024.

Yet another avoidable tragedy:

🚨 CPD Releases Photo of Fallen Hero: Chicago Police Officer John Bartholomew

Our hearts are with Officer Bartholomew’s family and his fellow officers during this unimaginable loss. 🙏🏽❤️
The man who murdered him — Alphonso Talley — was a career criminal with 21 arrests for violent crimes… but served only one prison sentence.

Talley was: • An electronic monitoring escapee
• A parole absconder
• Had armed robbery and carjacking cases pending
He was even out on pretrial release last year after being arrested for aggravated carjacking and armed robbery while facing other charges, including battery of peace officers.

This is the deadly result of 20+ years of Democrat-controlled criminal justice policies in Illinois that repeatedly put dangerous repeat offenders back on the street.

If you keep voting for the same legislators and the same soft-on-crime approach, this heartbreak will keep happening.

Enough is enough.
