Join us Sunday for Forest Bathing Walks with the University of Illinois - Extension during our Explore the Forest Event!

Immerse yourself and reconnect with nature and all the beauty it has to offer.

Relaxing mindfulness and meditative practices will be led by certified forest bathing guides during these slow and leisurely walks that can lead to improved mental and physical health.

These walks are designed for those 18 and older. Walks will be held 12pm to 1pm and 2pm to 3pm, Sunday, May 31, 2026.

Happy Memorial Day! Please remember to celebrate safely, and that includes holding tight to your balloons. When balloons land in wetlands, they are mistaken for food and can harm wildlife. Feel free to celebrate here at Crabtree with a walk or a visit to the nature center. We will be open our usual hours of 9 am - 5 pm.
