Federal Judge Rebukes Biden, Orders Joe To Restore Trump’s Stay-in-Mexico Asylum Policy

A federal judge just handed President Joe Biden a huge defeat and overruled his immigration policies ordering his administration to bring back the Trump-era policy requiring immigrants seeking U.S. asylum to remain in Mexico while their requests are processed.

The ruling by U.S. District Judge Matthew J. Kacsmaryk in Texas was a huge win for border states dealing with the recent migrant surge which has the system on the brink of collapse.

Kacsmaryk ruled the Homeland Security Department “failed to consider several critical factors, including the benefits of the remain in Mexico policy” and so were not following the law when they revoked Trump’s program.
