We've observed that 90% of individuals who seek treatment for behavioral health disorders tend to recover, yet only 35% actually seek treatment. A significant factor contributing to this gap is stigma. We invite you to join us in breaking down this stigma at Recovery Fest on Saturday from 10am-2pm at Annmarie Gardens in Solomons, MD.

September is National Recovery Month, and we would be honored if you would join us at Recovery Fest on September 5, 2026 from 10am-2pm at Annmarie Gardens in Solomons, MD to celebrate individuals in recovery. So many of us have been impacted by substance use and/or mental health disorders, whether personally or through someone we know. In just six days, we will gather as a community to offer local resources, family-friendly activities, and support to those who have overcome their struggles and are living a life of recovery. We invite you to be a part of this journey.

Help us educate the youth in our community about the mental health resources available in the county at the annual Recovery Fest on September 5, 2026 from 10am-2pm at Annmarie Gardens in Solomons, MD. Su***de is the second leading cause of death among 10-14 year olds, often due to untreated mental illness, and we believe it is never too early to learn about healthy coping skills and treatment options. We appreciate your support in this vital initiative.

We would like to invite you to Recovery Fest, an event dedicated to addressing the impact of overdose within our communities. With 1 in 8 Americans reporting that an overdose has negatively affected their lives, and given the noticeable increase in overdose rates over the last decade, it is imperative that we come together to learn and act. Recovery Fest aims to provide valuable knowledge and resources available in Calvert County that can help reverse this trend. We believe that increased awareness and understanding are crucial steps toward fostering a healthier community. Admission is free and the event takes place on September 5, 2026 from 10am-2pm at Annmarie Gardens in Solomons, MD.
