MYTH: The Assessor increases values to raise revenue.
FACT: The Assessor’s Office does not set budgets or tax rates.

Property values change based on the real estate market—just like home values rise or fall over time.

Our responsibility is accuracy, not revenue generation.

Fair. Accurate. Accountable.

I am currently serving as Washington County Assessor and will be on the ballot June 16th. It has been a privilege to serve, and I would be grateful for the opportunity to continue. Every vote and every voice matters.
